PACS (Post-Acute Care Specialists) are a group of hospitalists that provide exceptional transitional and post-hospital care in the Greenwood and south side Indianapolis area. PACS focuses on a quality transition from hospital to the post-hospital setting with an emphasis on patient experience and satisfaction. They work very closely with advanced practice providers and provide 24-hour physician coverage.
By partnering with PACS, The Village Pavilion is able to provide a high level of oversight previously unheard of in post-hospitalization care. PACS physicians regularly visit The Pavilion, monitor patient progress and play a vital role in The Village Pavilion’s successful outcomes.

What is the staff like?
Exceptionally trained and compassionate, The Village Pavilion staff includes registered nurses, a dietician, social workers, licensed practical nurses and physical and speech therapists.
Will I be seen by a physician?
Yes. The Village Pavilion is partnering with PACS (Post-Acute Care Specialists), which means a hospital-trained physician will visit regularly to monitor your progress and handle any issues. Providing you with such high quality, coordinated care is a major reason The Pavilion is able to get you home more quickly and avoid hospital re-admission.
Will there be any activities available?
The Village Pavilion offers a variety of planned cultural, social, religious and recreational activities, as well as delicious dining. You will feel comfortable and at home while you are recovering.
Will I be in control of my days?
Whether you are with us for a few days or a few months, you will feel right at home in your own routine. You decide what happens when, from what time you get up in the morning to your therapy and meal times. We want you to be comfortable, and we want to get you back to your routine as quickly as possible.
