“I can’t believe how beautiful, clean, and brightly lit this senior living facility is. Mom loves that her room came furnished. She can’t believe the size of her private room and bathroom. She loves all of the meals, snacks, and cappuccinos in the Bistro. The staff keeps her room remarkably immaculate, and they launder her clothing and bedding with care. Daily exercise, board games, bingo, trivia, pet therapy, knitting, art and cooking demonstrations... even a nail and hair salon. To sum it up, we’re more than happy and satisfied with Village Walk of Patchogue.”
I live at the Village Walk in downtown Patchogue. Good place to live. If you or a loved one needs assisted living, you should check it out. Shout out to Skye, one of the talented and sweet medication techs. Skye is always smiling and polite and goes the extra yard to help everyone. She even laughs at my jokes!
Village Walk took the time to learn Mom’s likes and dislikes. If a medical issue arose, they were quick to give or get her assistance, keeping us informed along the way. If I had any concerns, I could easily reach staff to discuss and work out an action plan. As Mom reached the end of her life, the care, concern, and compassion shown by the staff touched our hearts and confirmed we made the right decision.
During the pandemic, we needed to relocate our mother from another facility. Within a week, the Director of Community Relations and Outreach, was there to facilitate the move. They were professional, knowledgeable, warm, dependable, and hard-working. Day or night, they were always available to answer questions, address our concerns, and point us in the right direction. My family and I can’t say enough about the care our mother is receiving.
