On 1/20/2021, the first residents at Village Walk participated in the first of three Covid-19 Vaccine clinics held on-site at the community. Through a partnership with Walgreens, our residents and staff received priority access to the vaccine, leading a strong step forward for our seniors and team members to continue to focus on resident safety during the pandemic.
In December, as the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines received emergency approval for distribution, Village Walk partnered closely with our management company, Life Care Services® to prepare for on-site clinic opportunities in which residents and staff can receive both doses of the critical vaccine. This clinic marks the first of the three opportunities to receive doses of the vaccine.
Future clinic dates will align with the necessary dose timing, as indicated by the vaccine manufacturer. We are proud to provide priority access to our residents and look forward to sharing future updates with residents and families on all anticipated clinic dates as they become available.
